E-Kranti would prove quite beneficial to the government offices as usage of Information and Technology would enhance transparency and reliability of the working of various government offices.

3. Transformation of Civic Infrastructure would be brought through AMRUT

5. Nationwide Emergency Response System will now save Women in Distress

Police Response System will now get revolutionized due to advent of Nationwide Emergency Response System (NERS) .It aims to help the women in distress nationwide. NERS would have a special number designed for Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) present in every state. A call made on this number would be tracked by GPS based Computer Aided Software and help would be sent from the nearest police station to the women in distress.

6. Indian Railway now has its own Security System to avert Terror Attacks

Indian Railways is now equipped to avert any kind of terror attack and is thereby able to ensure 100% safety to the people travel through it . This has become possible due to inauguration of Integrated Security System (ISS) by Hon’ble Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu on 29 June 2015. ISS is now working in four major railway stations in Mumbai. With the advent of ISS, activities of passengers would be monitored by CCTV cameras and live images can be seen in railway station office.

Union Government has launched Suraksha Bandhan Drive to ensure enrolment in Social Security Scheme. Under this scheme the government aims to create a social security system which would cover poor sections of the society and would ensure their participation in Insurance Companies.

10. A Boost to Entrepreneurship

Consolidating Indian entrepreneurship, the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion has been delegated the responsibility to make the ‘Start-Up India’ initiative a success. The Department is already providing training to hone the skills of budding entrepreneurs. Now, it will also work closely with banks to ensure easy availability of soft loans in both rural and urban India.
