The administration of district Gurgaon has come together with investors, entrepreneurs & accelerators to plan a city based incubator that will act as a platform for all entrepreneurs to come together and contribute to the startup ecosystems of the city. A website specific for Gurgaon is being developed which will hold the database where any startup can enter and register.
The purpose of incubators is to help launch and grow successful businesses; the good news is that, this initiative will create a productive ecosystem by bringing everyone in start-up ecosystem at a common platform. It will help bridge the gap between entrepreneurs and investors, such an initiative will also facilitate investment and help create employment in the city. These Incubators usually provide hand holding and business assistance programs that provide entrepreneurs with an inexpensive start-up environment. They offer low-cost space & shared equipment and comradeship of fellow entrepreneurs.
This initiative is much in line with the vision of our Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi. His call for ‘StartUp India StandUp India’ has been hailed by one and all in the Industry and Academia. India is on the brink of a Start-Up revolution and such initiatives at the local administration level will certainly boost the morale of Start-Ups and entrepreneurs.
