Oxford and Cambridge Society of India Scholarship (OSCI) is providing partial scholarship to all the deserving undergraduates, second graduates, graduates and even research scholars hailing from any academic field in the University of Oxford and Cambridge during the academic year 2016-17. The candidate can be a graduate from any Indian University and should not be more than 30 years of age. The grant can be to the tune of INR 1,00,000 to 4,00,000. Ravi Sankaran Scholarship Programme another scholarship, can be the answer to the prayers of all those aspirants who are passionate about wildlife and dream about conserving biodiversity in India. This scholarship programme will fund three major activities, which are:
- 1 or 2 year master’s studies in a reputed foreign university.
- An internship from an international conservation organisation for minimum time period of 6 weeks – 1 year.
- Provision of grants that can be used for research purpose or implementation stage of a project in India.
This scholarship is for those candidates who display a keen interest in the preservation of wildlife and ecology. The candidate can hail from any discipline but she/he must be a graduate. The eligibility to avail this scholarship is upto 30 years in age. This scholarship has various other benefits in terms of stipend, course fees and even international travel. Another helpful benefit is OFID Scholarship Programme. This scholarship is specifically for those students who want to complete their graduation studies and want scholarship in order to pay for the expenses. This scholarship would also offer the students with 1 year of master level studies from an accredited educational institution. Students in between the age group of 23-32 years can apply for this scholarship. The interested candidates may be graduates or may still be pursuing graduation. Candidates can apply online for this scholarship and the deadline is 1st May, 2016. Similar to Ravi Sankaran Scholarship Programme, the candidates will get additional benefits in this scheme as well.
