A Surat based billionaire; Savji Dholakia shows great generosity towards 1716 of his employees showering them with overwhelming gifts for completing annual targets. This Diwali, Mr.Dholakia spent roughly $7.5 million on 400 flats, 1260 cars and jewellery for his best employees to incentivise them for their performance.
SavjiDholakia is a diamond merchant who runs Hare Krishna Exports in the state of Gujarat. His firm exports diamonds to about 75 countries across the globe.
This is not the first time that his firm has given such overwhelming incentives to his employees. He has been giving expensive bonuses to his outstanding employees since 2012. In 2014, he gave away 491 cars and 207 flats.
“Our aim is that each employee must have his own home and car in the next five years. So we have decided to gift cars, homes and jewellery to employees,” Dholakia announced. “We are arranging for houses for those who already own cars, while those who don’t have a four-wheeler will get one,” he added.
Diwali is the occasion when people in India exchange gifts among-st other things. But this Diwali gift is definitely one of the biggest and will be remembered for a long time.
