Now A Mobile Application For Education Related Complains

A unique mobile application has been launched by The Forum for Fairness in Education (FFE), which will help mitigate issues related to education in school. FFE is an NGO working in the space of education since 1994. The mobile application launched by the NGO will focus on complains against school fee hike, student injustice, admission issues and any other malpractice in the education sector.

A number of parents usually do not know current rules and regulations in the education field which keep on changing. They also don not know what they are entitled to under the Right to Education Act 2009. Keeping that in mind, the application will not be just a platform to submit grievances, but also will act like an information portal.

The complainants who can be a teacher, student, parent or any one from the school management have to register first and then will be able to write their complaint. The complaint will be received at the NGO from a specific school or college. It will then be submitted to the concerned education authorities who will take action after evaluation. The complainant can attach a picture, voice recording, pdf file, or even a video to submit the grievance.

The NGO’s members in Mumbai and Pune will act like a call centre providing any kind of help to the complainant. FFE made it clear that it will move the court for justice if the concerned authorities don’t take sufficient action.

The application does come as respite especially for parents, although students, teachers and school management can also be benefited. Technology has started providing important alternatives to solving certain social issues. Forward thinking organizations are deploying a number of mobile applications which are helping the digitally aware common man.  This is certainly good news for India.
